August 21, 2008 - Famed Running Author and Coach Jenny Hadfield On a Personal Mission for the Tug McGraw Foundation

Jenny Hadfield, co-author of "Marathoning for Mortals" an accomplished adventure racer, coach, and fitness expert who has trained thousands of athletes is setting out to do the extreme this October with her with her brother Scott; TMF board member Jeff McMahon of Tim McGraw and the Dancehall Doctors; and her husband John Bingham, aka "the Penguin," best-selling author of "No Need for Speed," and "The Courage to Start," as well as a Runner's World columnist and bon vivant. Together they will tackle 25 intensely rugged miles over 11,000 feet of elevation change in the Grand Canyon to raise awareness and funds for the Tug McGraw Foundation.

Jenny has inspired and encouraged so many others to run, including me and the many members of Team McGraw. Her journey this fall is much more personal than just running for a cause; she is running in memory of her father Roy who passed away two years ago from a brain tumor. So let’s rally behind Jenny and support the coach who has given endlessly to others.  Run Jenny Run-Jennifer Brusstar
