"Ya Gotta Believe"-- The Tug McGraw Foundation was established by Tug McGraw in 2003 to raise funds to enhance the quality of life of children and adults with brain tumors and their families by stimulating and facilitating research that addresses the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual impact of the disease. Funding will be directed to the Tug McGraw Research Center within the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University and to other research and medical institutions through a competitive grant program.Learn more

January 5, 2008- FasterCures releases its annual list, "Ten to Watch in 2009: Bigger Bang for Our Research Buck."

FasterCures/The Center for Accelerating Medical Solutions is a nonprofit “action tank” whose mission is to identify and implement global solutions to accelerate the process of discovery and clinical development of new therapies for the treatment of deadly and debilitating diseases. The Tug McGraw Foundation is proud to add and recognize FasterCures as a resource to our brain tumor community.

StyleSonic’s Inaugural Stepping up to the Plate Series is a tournament dedicated to carry on Tug McGraw’s legacy of enthusiasm and motivation, and his “Ya Gotta Believe” spirit for the game of baseball. Together with Nashville's Music City Fields and the Tug McGraw Foundation, the series will be a competitive tournament with emphasis on good sportsmanship, leadership and mentoring young athletes in making a difference in their communities.
